As it is now, I’m not going to sink tons of hours into a game on PC with an unrecoverable save that is not synced (yes, I found that the PC version is a local save ONLY). I may come back to and/or buy it later, once Cross-Play has been enabled and they activate Cloud Saving. I may just go ahead and reach out to support and see what they say.but I doubt it’ll do any good.Įdit #3: I found that I can request a refund for the purchase. Why no Cloud implementation? Oh, and I didn’t get any of the bonus content from the Hero Edition. So, I guess if the game gets uninstalled, there goes your save, too.

The Windows 10 store and Game Pass store segregation blows. I now feel like I’ve wasted $30 and wondering if I could even get it refunded. This has to be the most confusing, convoluted game launch I’ve ever seen, in my history of gaming (I’ve been playing since the NES). I’m SO mad right now, I’m spitting nails. Loaded up the game - all progress I’ve made since I started 4+ hours ago. It installed it and even showed up in my Game Pass list.

So, do I still need to purchase the full version of the game (Hero Edition) to access this? If I do, will it then carry over to my already installed version from Game Pass? Or will I need to delete that one and re-install from the Windows 10 Store? AND if I do that, will I lose my current saved progress? When I try to just buy the Hero DLC in the Windows store, it just says it's currently not available. The game says "offers in game purchases" in the Game Pass app, but there is nothing in-game. I had planned on buying the Hero Edition initially, until I seen it was free with the Game Pass that I already had. Soooo, I hopped on the Windows 10 store and happily got the 30 Hero Edition.
